-Only 68.3 percent of the students attend school full-time

-only 4/10 people with a visual impairment have made it past a highschool diploma

-20.1 percent of people with a visual impairment had a college diploma and only 9 percent held a bachelors

-1/3 of people with visual impairments discontinued their education due to their condition

-1/3 of the visually impaired reported that it took longer achieve their academic goal

-15 percent of visually impaired students reported that they had extra expenses for schooling

-Only 1/3 of people with visual impairments were employed
